Born Again
Born into a dark, evil world. The only law is malice and turpitude. Left alone to embrace the universe, you adpt. You are bound to the servitude of the Dark Prince, forever and always: longing for freedom. But there is no escape, there is no liberation from your inexorable commitment to the darkness. Then, almost as suddenly as you were granted the horrors of sentience, it all comes to an abrupt end. Drowning in a sea of white, you watch as Tiber steal your mortality. Time is up. It is over. You have died.
Born into a world of pureness and light. There is a standing ordinance of goodness and truth. Life ifs wonderful treasure, to be annoyed- but not fully. You tire, you weaken. You ruminate on the complexities of life- of your life. Your burdens disappear. You die.
Born now into a world with more to offer. You feel now. You hunger, so you eat. You thirst, so you drink. You exist in a society built for man, to be what you make of it. But as you live, you begin to feel older, and you fatigue again. After contemplating life unto great epiphany, you are ready. You feel yourself changing. You loose yourself. You die.
Born again into a gorgeous world of man, filled with experience, you are now endued with the greatest asset. You have purpose. You find meaning in your life, and you share that meaning with others. You find your benefit through your acts. You practice magnanimity. Again now, you are tired. You finish your work and lay down to bed. You are getting sleepy, very sleepy. You are asleep. You have died.
Born now to a beautiful city. The streets are all decorated to greet you. You are dressed in perfect robes, and are as formal and as casual as anyone could be. Your new life is one of joy and jubilation. Here, no evil can touch you. Here, you will enjoy life. Here, you will live forever.
